Announcing merger of eGangotri Foundation with SKF Chennai

eGangotri Foundation has now formally merged with Chennai based Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation.

Management/execution/people/staff/centers everything runs as usual. Finance/Budgeting/Admin/Public Relations/Salaries will now be exclusively handled by SKF.eGangotri will focus on strategy/execution/data acquisition-management only.

This, a very salutary arrangement that will now allow us – given the budget allocation – to atleast double our head-count in 2023 and increase by 5-8 new centers touchwood.

We hope by end of this year we could increase our current average of 2.5 lakh pages/month-1200pdfs/month to double or more of that.

eGangotri continues to ask patrons to give generous tips for archive-worthy libraries and collections so we can enrich the readership options of Indologists.

Please consider digitizing the collection of the Nagarjuna Buddhist Foundation in Gorakhpur, U.P. Prof. Karunesh Shukla is keenly interested in preserving the manuscript collection which he himself built. He has published a catalogue of the collection, and it has been integrated into the N.M.M. database. The NBF is located at 18, Andhiari Bagh, Gorakpur UP 273 001. Ph: 911123383894‬

  3. This information in this page does not refer to eGangotri Trust.

A separate foundation was created to be on the new Section-8 Company bandwagon with hardly any accomplishents.

The Foundation was cunningly usurped by the Siddhanta Foundation. But it was just a piece of paper with very little throughput or work. The Trust remains untouched.

Siddhanta in it’s truest spirit merely wanted to use eGangotri work for stealing credit and artificially purchase a reputation.

Anyone who is trying to work with them – be forewarned their management is more pathetic than the worst Govt. Dept you may have dealt with – one former associate who left in equal disgust as I did – described them as having the anti-midas touch: anything they touch becomes dust.

The fox Sudarshan runs the show – the boss Shri Jhaver he is Dhritrashtra with good intentions.

So he in his blindfold any hogwash fed by Sudarshan and minion-dom is game. Anyone wishing to work with them just remember it’s a waste of your time and money and the chamchas will keep you in an infinite loop of non-execution.
