Dear All:
Thanks immensely to Prof. Sushma Gupta, Head of Department, Skt Dept. Jammu University and Prof Ramnika Jalali – we were able to digitize a few books from the Collection B N pandit ji had donated to the University.
Among two very remarkable Titles are:
B N Pandit’s unpublished PhD Comparative Study of Kashmir Shaivism
and
and Kaala Siddhanta Darshini – MM Hara Charana Bhattacharya
A Book with a Foreword by Gopinath Kaviraj which discusses Indian Ideas on Time. A 1941 Publications.
More books are on the way to be digitized.
This List of Books self-compiled by B N Pandit of his Own Works I found in the PhD
This List is very interesting because it shows that several of his Books are not in Ciculation and some entries I doubt if ever got published and if they didnt then where can they be found.
I have many book but the following I dont have:
Siddha Maharahasya Vimarshini
( I do have the Siddha Rahasya Original but I was not aware B N Panditji wrote a Vimarshini on it )
Paramartha Sara Tika ( Hindi )
Bodhollasa by Kshemendra (Skt)
Kapalmochana Tirtha
Martanda Tirth
Saiva Monism in Kashmir
If anybody know about any of these Books I will be very grateful.
Shri Kokiluji in Delhi had urged me to find out about Paramarth Sara Hindi Tika by B N Pandit.
At that Time I wasnt sure but now it is certain that he did write a Work with that Title.
And finally Work has started at Raghunath Temple Library, Jammu and we started with a Book Almirah which has a small cache of Manuscripts deposited from Kashmir – there manuscripts were never cataloged and are not know to anyone besides the Staff
this is the Almira:
amd the Initialy DIgitized Books are available here:
and here as well
Some Pictures of the Almira and the Cover Pages and a Hand Written Catalog can be seen below:
I was so surprised it had another entry for Swatantrya Deepika – so this will be the second copy we get to digitize – and a third one whenever M L Kokiloo agrees to do for his Copy.
It is very strange that this random cache has most of the Important Manuscripts of Kashmir Shaivism and this 280+ Pages of Abhinagaupta ( Ishwar PRatyabhijna Vritti ) I think seems the most important:
